Fete Friday - My New Adventure!

It's kind of fitting that I'm announcing my new venture on a Fête Friday because...it has to do with fêtes!

Let me introduce you to Hoopla Event Design and Styling!

My friend Robin and I are venturing out into the world of event design!

It's actually been quite a few months in the making (we first started talking about it last February!), but we launched our website on Wednesday night and we are already getting tons of great feedback!

Both Robin and I have been craving a job we can do with our hands. We're both crafty and creative and both have non-crafty and creative jobs. Robin has an extensive background in floral design. I dabble in interior design. We both love planning parties and decorating, so we thought it would be a great fit!

We have already done a couple of events (check out our portfolio) and have three weddings booked for next summer - okay, one is Robin's, but who's counting??!!

We also started a blog, which we are really excited about, so you can stay up-to-date with all the shenanigans that goes on with designing events. Believe me, there's a lot of shenanigans! The blog is also going to be really similar to What's Up Whimsy - DIYs, interior stuff, cool companies, etc. - so, I'm really hoping you come and follow along over there.
