We have put our huge clunker of a TV to rest and joined the rest of the masses with a nice, new, sleek TV in our living room. Except now, I need it to rest on somthing.
It has to have closed storage.
It can't be brown (too much in the living room already).
It has to be fairly cheap.
It has to be cool.
And so far, I have come up with nothing.
I am thinking I am going to have to find something second hand and then paint it up the way I want.
I really love the look of Danielle Oakey's desk.
She did it in Rustoleum's Protective Enamel Gloss paint, but of course, it can't be a desk, so I have been searching for the right piece of furniture on Craigslist or Kijiji.
Do I go with the antique look?
Or the mid-century modern look?
Or do I go with something different like a set of drawers?
BUT...I am making my way to the Aberfoyle Antique Market this Sunday, so I am hoping I can find something there. It's the second last market of the season and I hear there are some good deals to be had, so I have high hopes.
I want to know what you guys put your TV on. The options are endless, but I guess it all depends what your needs are.
