Fete Friday - Birch Trees...and Giveaway Winner!

If you follow me on Facebook, you would have heard that my sister, Caitie, just recently got engaged and is going to get married next August.  We are all so excited for her and her hubby-to-be, Andrew! I am extra excited because I have been appointed (or rather I have appointed myself) the event designer.  The wedding is going be at Andrew's parents' apple orchard and it is going to be gorgeous! Andrew is a super "woodsman" type, so we are definitely going to incorporate wood into the decor.  As I was pulling some inspiration from Pinterest,  I noticed that 'birch' is really in for weddings right now. Whether it's birch vases, birch candles or birch chuppahs, it's all the rage!

I think it's super pretty and I'm pretty sure we are going to be including some birch at the apple orchard wedding.  You like??
