My Cityline Experience

As I mentioned earlier, I was invited to be a part of the audience at Cityline’s taping on Tuesday.  The fun thing was, the audience was full of women who blog and tweet and the whole show was revolved around that.

The set was a lot smaller than I thought, but it was definitely stylish.  Check out that Barrymore sofa and Ikea rug!

They invited decor, food, beauty and mommy bloggers to the show and had an accompanying guest expert for each sector.

Leigh Anne Alliare, regular guest on Cityline and colour and design expert for Benjamin Moore Canada, was representing the decor bloggers.  She shared a great art silhouette DIY that I would like to try, among other things.

Each guest talked about their tips for blogging and tweeting and how their specialty plays into their social media usage.  What was similar among all guests was their candid comments on how the blogging and tweeting community is so supportive and welcoming, which I find to be so true.  I really felt like I was part of a family that day, which was really cool.

After the show, we were all surprised with a tweet-up at the snazzy, new Ritz-Carlton.  Cityline really pulled out all the stops.  The venue was gorgeous, the food was amazing and the company was even better.  And to top it all off, we got wicked swag bags!

The show airs next Tuesday the 29th at 9am.  I will remind you the day before to watch because I think it’s a must see for all you bloggers or want-to-be bloggers out there.  And you might even catch a glimpse of me!
