Artist of the Day – Avril Loreti

 
I have been meaning to write a post on Avril and her work for a while now.  I actually featured one of her cool tea towel calendars in my post here a couple of weeks ago, but I think she deserves a full write up all to herself!

Avril Loreti is a local Toronto artist with serious talent and creativity.  Her modern home decor and accessories are unique and stand out from the typical ‘gifts under $30’ category.  Whenever I have seen her booth at craft shows around the city, I’m always drawn to the cute and cheeky designs of her tea towels, cocktail napkins, handkerchiefs and totes.  Here are some of my favs from her Etsy shop:
