My husband and I cannot even remember the last time we just stayed in and watched a movie, so we are doing that tonight. I debated telling you the name of the movie we are going to watch because it’s kind of embarrassing, but here goes – Hot Tub Time Machine! From what we hear, it’s one of those “so bad, it’s good” movies and we are all over those! Don’t judge!
Then, on Saturday, it’s one of my favourite times of the year! The Cabbagetown Festival in Toronto! For all of you who don’t know, Cabbagetown comprises the largest continuous area of preserved Victorian housing in North America. Which means, it is the most beautiful part of the city, according to me!!
So, not only is does the festival have a huge arts and crafts sale, entertainment and food galore, it has the best neighbourhood-wide garage sale!! And let me tell you, these old Victorian houses produce some mouth-watering antiques!! I got some beauties last year and I’m hoping I come home with a few things to continue my great antique finds week.
What are your plans this weekend? Anything exciting?

Sounds like a great weekend Shannon! B and I actually rented Hot Tub Time Machine the other week when we wanted some mind numbing entertainment. There were some pretty funny parts in it! Hope you enjoy!
Hmmmm - maybe I'll head to the Cabbagetown Festival on my own after I go to the TIFF movie.
Have a great one!
Haha, me and my hubbby watched Hot Tub Time Machine last weekend! It was actually pretty funny, I had some pretty low expectations so I can honestly say it was "not terrible"!
Those houses are so flippin' cute, what a great festival!
Sounds like a great weekend! Have fun at the festival! I will keep my hot tub time machine opinion to myself. :)

I just got back from the festival - such a perfect day for it! Have fun!
I will see anything with Cusak in it...so of course I have watched this too! :) shhh!
The festival sounds amazing...would love to go to something like that, and these photos of old Victorian homes are gorgeous!!!
Those are really beautiful houses. The little stone bungalow is so charming :-)
Did you make any good antique finds??
I'm squeezing everything I can out of what will likely be my last weekend at the cottage. Just ate a yummy piece of strawberry rhubarb pie that my dad made :-)

I'm glad I'm not along with the HTTM. And the verdict is....it was okay :)
And yes, Kelly, I did find some good stuff...one thing in particular, but you will have to wait until Monday to find out what it is!
