My Picture Ledges Update

I posted a picture of my picture ledge wall back in July and I just wanted to show you the progress so far.

It's amazing what a few new pieces of art and knick knacks can do.  I just feel like it has a much more full and finished look.

A few notes:
1.  Yes, we are obsessed with our son Keaton, as we should be.  When we have another child though, we will have to switch up the pictures so he or she doesn't get jealous.  Ha ha.
2.  I have mentioned it before, but I hate the colour of our walls.  We are renters and won't be there too much longer, so it wasn't worth painting.  Nevertheless, I look at our walls everyday and throw up in my mouth a little

Okay, the wall color is not so bad, but I get how it's not your personal choice. Little one is precious!!

Nice update! We have a some shelves in our living room that need a facelift too... I just can't get the motivation or inspiration to tackle them.
Wanna do them to?? ;)

Sorry about the wall colour thing... At least you have lots of photos of Keaton to cover it up! :) Looks great!

Well for a bad wall color you certainly did jazz them up. Love it.

Oh I love this! I've been doing similar things with frames and letters too.

In fact I just posted about using letters today! I think I have a wall obesession at the moment! I rent too and I know how frustrating it is, but you'll get there in the end! :-)

Great job! xx

Love the look on Keaton's face in the picture in the oval frame :-)

The wall colour is.... well, yeah, it's kind of bad!! But like you said, not much point in painting seeing as you're renting and won't be there too much longer.

Have a great weekend!!

Haha I can relate too...although I get so fussy sometimes I just go ahead and paint even though I am renting! My bedroom went from bubble gum pink (I don't know what I was thinking) to a more neutral taupey brown a few years ago when Jordan moved in and I already want it changed! I painted my family room years ago when I moved into this place, and the colour is similar to your walls and I no longer love it yet can't find the motivation to re-do it!
