THIS is what I got at the garage sale on Saturday. FOR $40!! Can you believe it? So, the story is, it’s a vintage dental cabinet that was bought at a local vintage store a couple of years ago called Commute Home in Toronto. The store had completely refinished it and it is still in great shape. I have no idea why the owner wanted to get rid of it! Oh well, their loss, my gain! I had originally wanted to use it as a display case for all my knick knacks - the only problem is:
1. I have no place for it right now :)
2. Keaton is very interested in it and likes to bang the doors open and shut (they are glass and there is also glass on the sides)
For now, I think I will have to put those ugly child proof locks on the doors and keep it downstairs by my craft table and put craft-related items in there. Oh, and I also picked up two very cute vintage tea cups – I am thinking of making tea cup candles for some Christmas gifts this year.
How was your weekend?

Wow - lovely! If Keaton's banging gets to be a bit much I will gladly take it off your hands!
Oh, and thanks for adding me (although I must be blind because I still can't see my blog there!)
what an awesome find!! I love going to garage sells and finding goodies!
What an incredible find Shannon! It's gorgeous... and I'm a HUGE fan of that pink scalloped tea cup on the left! So pretty!
Great score, Shannon! That thing has great legs!
Thank you so much for your comment yesterday, I'm glad you like my table (as much as I do ;) Seriously, you're such a sweetie and I appreciate each and every one of your comments! Happy Monday, Shannon!

Also I may be stealing your teacup candle idea. Not only is it an expensive project, it's extra thoughtful and they get a teacup to use once the candle has burned down. Love this!
What a super cool find!! Love it! You should paint the inside a funky color...
BTW - Been a bad blog friend lately because I've been so busy! Just now seeing your new blog design and LOVE IT!!!!
Great find!! Hopefully you can use it soon! It is lovely :)
