It can be, depending on the room it is in! Like it it's panelling, tattered couches and crocheted blankets, then NO. But if it's like a well manicured room like above then YES! LOL....
Totally NOT for me, especially if they're real. WThe previous owners of our house had a deer head hanging above the fireplace. Totally grossed me out. I think deer parts should stay on the deer and in the woods!!
Thanks for everyone's two sense! I would say the consensus is that the antler look is still hot. Although I don't have any antlers, I do have a cardboard deer head in my living room. That counts right?
I LOVE them - think they add a nice masculine touch which is a good thing when you're cohabitating and sometimes overlook your partner's taste for your own! :S haha... In fact, Marc's dad is a long time hunter and I secretly hope we can snag some antlers from him one of these days!

I really like this trend...still. We have a bunch in our ski house, where I think the "look", looks right at home. Love these images as well!
Enjoy your break, Shannon! Love the final image - it was in Livingetc a while back and I still find it inspiring!

if done tastefully, it can bring a lot of character to a room.
