I have been noticing a lot of "beach/pool" photography in people's spaces and I LOVE the look.

These pieces of art could cost you hundreds of dollars, if not thousands. I know the first two images show photography by Slim Aarons (thanks to Staci!) and would cost $3000 for a 20"x24". Yikes!
If you are looking for getting these looks for less, there are a few places you can look:
1. 20x200 - A great source for cheap art! All are limited editions and can be bought at $20, $50 and so on, depending on the size.

Don't you just want to be at that beach??
2. Etsy - As usual, they have amazing and affordable options
Alicia Bock - $35
Depuis - $45 and comes framed!

Any of these options would look amazing anywhere in your house, at any time of the year, but I am thinking of ordering some for my bathroom. Cute eh?
Are you guys mourning the loss of summer? Or are you falling for fall (pardon the pun!)

I haven't left a comment in FOREVER (and I really should because this weekend I'm making mingmakescupcakes Guiness cupcakes for a friend, thanks to you!), but I love these ideas for finding affordable art! Thanks, Shan.
Love that yellow breakfast nook! These beach photos are fab.
I'm dying for the Fall. I'm a summer and fall girl... love both! I could totally live somewhere that bounces strictly between summer and fall. I could do without winter and spring... for real ;)
I'm with you Shannon, I'm such a summer girl too! I think it's because our summers always feel so short, I need to enjoy and soak up as much as I can!!
I've been noticing tons of beachy pics too and love the idea of looking at one come those cold winter days!
Happy weekend to you!
:) Christine
totally falling for fall! i love that kitchen banquette and chairs in the 1st photo.
Great idea to keep a bit of summer around! I love all these images...especially the ones with the umbrellas!
You know anything yellow has me swooning, Shannon!! Have the best weekend!
Love that!!
Thank you! Love all of them. :)
such a summer girl. although, as the crisp air is flowing through my kitchen windows tonight as i browse your blog (instead of getting to work), i must admit i love fall also. nothing beats wearing a sundress and getting a tan though. by the way, i bought a tufted alabaster velour chair tonight and thought of you. it's the one piece of furniture that won't be a hand-me-down in my condo and i'm very excited. i got an emerald green throw to drape over the back.
Kathryn - I'm so glad you're going with the Guinness ones - I was I was there to eat them with you!
Kerry - I'm with you on the Winter and Spring thing - Eww!
Will - I knew you would love it!
Crystal - Tell me more about this chair!!
can't bear the thought of not wearing my flip flops...although it is kind of fun to dig up the shoe boxes and re-discover my winter collection! :)
Ah Slim, great work, but yes very expensive in comparison to the other beach shots!
I am all about summer relaxing, but fall weather... So I'm torn really.
I love how summers feel so easy breezy and it's so easy to take off for a weekend here and there.
Fall however, feels like it's time to get back to work {I guess that may go back to school days?} and take life more seriously.
But I do love the fall for it's nice comfortable temps and the changing leaves!
I've got british genes, so I don't tan very well, so I tend to spend a lot of my summer in the shade!
{Thanks for swinging by, and I hope you are having a lovely weekend!}

I am definitely mourning the summer :( Boo to the winter (although I love the weather and fashion that comes along with autumn...just wish it lasted longer!).
I love the last piece of art that you posted here... the one titled "Depuis - $45 and comes framed". I love the specific focus on the foreground and the rest of the image just seems to 'melt away' out of focus. Really eye-catching. Would love to use it in a colorful beach house or even in an enclosed porch area/solarium. Love the colours so much.
Thanks for sharing, Shannon! I love knowing that I'll always enjoy reading your latest post...no disappointments.
Hi Shannon,
What great photos! How very strange that I live so near the ocean and haven't been to the beach in forever...gone are the days when I could sport a cute bathing suit :0
Much love,
Susan
Great idea! I too am depressed that summer is almost over especially since here in Alberta we've barely had one!
Completely and totally mourning! That's why I adore this post, and 20x200 is such a great resource, love this idea!
Shannon I just read your comment on my post, I gave you an answer in the comments!! Thanks for the visit!! Kathysue
PS I answered you on my blog so others could read it also, hope you don't mind!1
I adore that last photo, I've had my eye on it on Etsy for sometime...perhaps I should make the leap and get it!! :-)
