After last week's "Woe Is Me, Summer Is Almost Over" post, I realized that there is another reason I'm sad the Summer is coming to an end. My "Summer To-Do List" has become my "Summer (Not) To-Do List". At the beginning of this glorious season, I had grand plans for all these projects around the house and I did not get to one of them! I even put the list on my fridge so that I could cross off the items once they were done. It has been staring at my face everyday for three months now!
Oh well, I guess I can carry these to-do's over to the Fall and Winter. Let's just hope I can find the time to do them.
Did you guys get around to your "Summer To-Do Lists"? I would love to see some of your projects!
Or were you like me and completely abandoned your list?
Note: Dominos's Pizza did not endorse this post. We are just seriously lacking some good magnets. We don't even order Domino's. We got it free in the mail one day and thought it would be helpful for hanging things on the fridge in the future. Ha ha.

I'd like to do some artwork for our bedroom! Fun to see your list, Shannon. Hope your weekend was good!
I know how you're feeling!
I feel like I got nothing done this summer, but then I look back on the progress around our home (mainly the basement) and I am super thrilled. I actually have a 2010 to-do list that I'm interested in looking back on now to see how much I have accomplished so far.
There's just never enough hours in the day... or days in the week, etc...
These all look like great inside fall/winter projects to me. They will get done when you get in a creative mood. we creative types are mood workers on our creations. I have a list up on my blog today also. All the elements I can use to bring fall into my home. It helps to have a reminder list since I am more of a Spring gall than a fall gal, happy Monday,Kathysue
you need to add another project...cut dominos magnet down, and glue it onto the back of cute buttons...or something!
its easier to get heavy work done in the crisp fall air!
Cute post! I can totally relate!
I mean, I did a few projects...updated my living room and family room with a little spray paint on some furniture and some new pillows for the sofas...I changed some of the wall art around...but I still have a few things left on my list I did not do! I too want to make an upholstered headboard for the bedroom and I also want to sand down and paint my computer desk! It will all have to wait until Fall hehe...
P.S. This summer was too beautiful for these larger projects anyways!
Put something easy on the list so you can cross it off immediately, that'll make you feel better!
I'm such a list loser, sometimes if I forgot to write something down I'll add it to the list JUST so I can cross it off!
haha, Dominos! We have ugly magnets too ;)
Have a great week, Shannon!
:) Christine
Ryan and I have a huge list of activities we want to do this summer, foods we want to eat/make, places we want to go. Each Sunday we're supposed to cross something off the list. It is also becoming a fall/winter list. Lists are good and they can always be revised ;)
As I see in your list, your bedroom was the main goal this summer and even if you didn't get to it, I'm sure eventually it will all end up perfectly well done! xoxo
Oh yes I believe in you! You can do it!
Hurry up so we can see them! : )
Luvs!
I cannot wait to see your projects once they are complete! :)
And I say don't rush, enjoy what's left of summer!

Sometimes fall can be inspiring to get things done! I didn't do a lot of things on my list either. All well...there is always another day :)
Thanks for letting me know about your projects...and for assuring me that it's okay that I didn't get to my Summer List :)
