My Antique Finds

Hello friends! I hope everyone had a great weekend.  I went to two antique stores over the weekend and got a couple of good items - cottage country is always so great for one-of-a-kind finds!

I didn't take a picture of the first store I went to, but it was called Great Finds and was in Fenelon Falls.  I have always wanted to go in there and it was so worth it!  This is what I bought:

My marble-bottomed cheese dome - I think I am going to do a cute little "vignette" inside - maybe with a dollhouse-sized Eames chair or something!

And my best find yet!! This is a gorgeous 3' x 1.5' rug that is all woven (kind of hard to tell from the picture).  I love the colours and have already planned my front entryway in "the new house" around it.  So pumped!

And now for some pics of the second antique store I went to over the weekend.  I have always passed this antique barn on the way to the cottage, but have never gone in.  Well, this time, I just had to stop!
It is literally an old barn on the side of the road - so charming!
It was jam-packed with fun stuff!
A box full of decorative old tins - they would look great lined up on a kitchen counter filled with odds and ends
A chair with amazing potential!
A cool blue and gold bird cage
And a really cool chair that would look perfect on my patio!

Alas, I didn't buy anything there, but I came home to a surprise! My Mom dropped off some gifts for me! She went to a closing/garage sale at an old framing store and got me these:
Two teacups and three old apothecary bottles and....
A stack of 17 antique frames!! I may have to share these with my sisters and aunt, but for now, they are at my house! Bahahaha...

Have any of you found any cool antique items lately?? I would love to see them!
