I can't remember where I found this photo - I'm so sorry! But I loved it when i saw it - the dark hardwood floors, the coffee table, the dresser...and I knew the elements could be easily bought off of Craigslist to create the same effect. Here goes:
Okay, I know this isn't the same sofa at all, but I thought it would really fit with the room and if it was reupholstered in a cream linen, it would look gorgeous! All for $280!!
What a great deal! A set of two of these tables, plus a matching coffee table for $50! Put the two side tables side by side to act as a coffee table and sell the other piece on Craigslist - a win/win!
On the other side of the sofa, there is a round side table. This antique piano stool for $70 would work perfectly (and I bet you could talk them down a bit too)! Just a little touch-up paint and you're good to go!
This dresser for $300 is perfect (the mirror is not included). You could stain it darker, like the one in the picture, or leave it as is. A dresser in the living room, although not the norm, is a great idea. Have kids? Put all the toys in the drawers!
This antique side chair for $75 is a great addition to the room. You could reupholster the seat in an interesting fabric.
I love this mirror! And for $75, it would look great over the dresser.

I'm sure the room in the picture cost thousands and thousands of dollars to create, but, you could replicate the look on Craigslist for $850. What do you think?
