Artist of the Day - Julie Moon

I only just saw this amazing artist at the Outdoor Art Exhibition at Nathan Phillips in Toronto in July and I have been dreaming about her stuff since.  Julie Moon is an incredibly talented and unique ceramic artist.  I was immediately drawn to her booth because this was in the middle of it:

Are you as intrigued by those little flowers as I was?  Here is a closer shot:

I cannot get over how beautiful these flowers are...and all handmade by Julie, as well as the swan.

She also had these amazing decorative skulls.  You can see one on the left side in both pictures - it also had these beautiful flowers on it, but she had a bunch of different other skulls as well.  I wanted one so badly!!  Julie was also selling earrings (mini versions of the ceramic flowers) that my sister bought.  So cute!  I just recently checked out her website and found some other amazing works of art.  

How cool is her stuff eh?? Unfortunately, there isn't an option to buy any of her art on her website, but if you are interested, you can contact her directly for prices.  I remember the prices for the skulls and earrings were pretty reasonable.
